This boy wont leave me alone at school, help?

It all started when i went on a school educational trip to Paris, he started following us EVERYWHERE and he wouldn't leave us alone! We even went into the girls toilet so he couldn't come in but he still waited outside and we where in there for about half an hour. Now in school he follows me even more, i was in the corridor today and he walked by me and one of my best friends and he started shouting my name, so i told him to go away and he wouldn't listen and keeps following me. I told my mum and she said that he probably wants to be your friend. Problem is i really really really hate him.... :/ Any advice?
