Would you agree with this proposition..?

the lack of obvious purpose for life allows one to make one's own purpose. humans often wonder what our 'purpose' is, but perhaps the lacktherof in the universe is the greatest thing of all; everyone is free to make their own realities and purposes. do you agree? or do you believe that there is some universal purpose (i.e. to get into heaven). thanks for any input.
