Good time to live together?

both me and my boyfriend are 22. we've dated on and off for a year then steadily for the past 16 months. i'm graduating from university in april and then i really don't know what i'll do. i've been living in residence for my entire 4 years of university and i was now thinking of asking my boyfriend to live with me. is the timing right? is this a good idea?
