I just got a 3 year old Chihuahua, she wont come out of her kennel?

I got Roxy from my cousin she is 3 years old! My cousin said she is the perfect lap dog. Well she snapped at my friends and will not come out of her kennel. I bribe her with treats she takes em then back off. What do I do? PLEASE HELP?
