My cat sometimes gets into the plants when she does it seems like the next day she is more hyper and ...?

when she gets into the plants it seems the next day she is super hyper, she licks herself soo much that she loses hair and she wont use the litterbox. Could my cat eating the plants be the cause to those problems and is there any solution for me. Because I might have to get rid of her if I cant get her to use the litterbox her bodily functions are ruining the house. But when she's not licking herself all the rime she seems less hyper and uses the litterbox.
